I was lucky enough to find Tim via an internet search for barefoot trimmers after making the decision to take my mare Winona barefoot after a navicular diagnosis. He has a really great way about him and keeps my mare calm and comfortable while trimming. The transformation in the way she stands and carries herself is incredible. Tim is knowledgeable, professional, kind and an overall pleasure to work with. Happy to have him on our team as we ride on.

Tim came highly recommended to me. Words like “game changer” were used by friends who use his services. I brought home a new project horse that came with very long feet and little to no training to even pick them up. Along with long feet he came with a questionable handling history, and the last thing I want to do is add to any additional trauma at the hands of humans who he already did not fully trust yet. I’d worked with him for a few weeks, but he still had a ways to go, so I considered using sedation, but Tim said he wanted to try without it. Well, he got all four feet trimmed with no trauma to my horse. It took time and patience, but Tim came prepared to give him both. I was very happy with the outcome and thankful for Tim’s expertise.

SO BEYOND GRATEFUL! Tim came highly recommended I’m so thankful to have him on our team! My 24y/o TWH has arthritis and was actually going to be put down because of it so I quickly adopted him. With Tim’s help he is making a comeback and is a happy healthy boy getting stronger each day. Normally after a trim he is “crippled” for 2 days but not with Tim. He is very intuitive to a horse’s needs and really takes his time to read them and respond. I have never met a kinder more gentle and efficient farrier! His work is so clean and well done. My boy is unbelievably comfortable, calm and trusting with Tim. I was shocked after his first trim when he actually walked off quicker than ever not all stiff and was even “light” on this feet! The day after even with the muddy conditions, I haven’t seen this boy walk so well in years. With Tim’s expert guidance and care, my boy is getting a new lease on life.

My mare is very sensitive and I usually cannot take her on the trail for 2 of 3 days after she gets trimmed and I tried a few farriers so I contacted Tim, he trimmed her and he was so good with her, she even fell asleep 🙂
The next day I took her out in the arena and she went crazy, she had so much fun, no pain !
I just want to say ” Thank you Tim and my horse Dena thank you too “

One of my dear friends recommended Tim to me after he was able to help her horse who suffers with lame
Issues…
And I’m so happy she did!! I have a quater horse with one foot smaller then the other, he’s a big horse in general with small
Feet 🤨 and he’s like the princess and the pea… if one little thing is off he limps!
So with the glue on polyurethane shoes that Tim uses he’s able to cow sort, trail ride with ease!!
Tim shows up on time and always responds to me right away if I have a question or concerns!

I have a 18 year old mare that luckily has been barefoot for most of her life. I have been fortunate to have good farriers through the years. But then I found Tim! My mare has sticky hocks and it is difficult for her to raise her hind legs very high. Tim has found a way to trim her low to the ground for her comfort (not his, lol). Not only is he talented but I mostly appreciate his patience and persistence. His calm and peaceful manner puts my mare at ease which allows me to relax and be comfortable as well. I highly appreciate and recommend Tim.

I just started using Tim for trimming my horse who was recently diagnosed with Cushings and moderate laminitis. The vet recommended a very light trim the first time. Tim actually spent 1.5 hours doing a light trim. He was absolutely meticulous. On the 2nd trim, he also took his time but started using an electric trimmer for the final work. I couldn’t believe that my horse did not even care. I feel that Tim is a Godsend for my horse. Also Tim is prompt and keeps track of when to trim for me. He is also always ready to communicate about what is needed.

When I was in need of a new trimmer, a friend referred Tim with a glowing review. So I decided to give him a try and so glad that I did. I have a TB mare and a donkey, and I had some anxiety about the donkey because he had given two other trimmers a hard time and I was worried that he would do the same with Tim. But Tim’s gentle and calming manner put my donkey at ease and the trimming went off without a hitch. And Tim had my mare so relaxed, she was even falling asleep during her trim. I was impressed and relieved. Tim is very professional, punctual and responsive. I have a crazy schedule so I appreciate those qualities immensely. I’m thrilled that Tim is now part of my equine team.

Tim’s a wonderful farrier and a wonderful person to work with.
He takes time to explain what he’s doing and he has a fantastic, gentle way way with every horse I’ve seen him work with.
When my horse had problems with a different farrier, he worked hand in hand with my vet ( a rare pleasure, when one won’t often consult with the other), and quickly corrected the problem without working too fast as his hooves adjusted.
I loved how skilled, efficient and easy Tim is with his work. (not muscling horse around, but keeping them comfortable.)
With just one corrective trim, I could actually hear the difference in my horse’s steps… freer in his gate, and more comfortable.
An absolute pleasure after past injuries.
I’ll always be confident referring clients to Tim. I know his work and professionalism are the best.

My horse used to have to be sedated every time we did her hooves but with Tim she was perfectly fine and we didn’t need any sedation!!!

Since Tim put on Easy Shoes on Rogue she’s moving better than ever. She’s collecting herself, using her back, doing beautiful transitions and looks really happy.

Tim has been helping me with a thoroughbred rescue, John’s Dream, that we got with a bad case of seedy toe, major resection of hoof wall, and a rotated coffin bone, i.e. foundered. He has done a superb job with this horse using the EasyCare plastic shoes. John is going sound at walk, trot and canter and taking short trips in the reservoir. Always very sensitive around the horse, and expert driving a nail. Great work! Thanks, Tim!

My quarter horse Gracie has cushings and developed laminitis over the summer and was really lame. She has arthritis and other leg issues as well and I was recommended to call Tim. Since he started looking after Gracie’sfeet she has been galloping around and behaving like she used to. Recently she was limping again and not wanting to run in turnout, but after Tim trimmed her she walked out perfectly and went and did her happy gallop and buck as soon as I turned her out!
I could t recommend anyone more, not only for his knowledge and experience but for the care he shows the horses. You can tell that my horse trusts and appreciates him as much as I do. Thank you Tim for being somewhat a Miracle worker as far as I’m concerned.

Tim has been so patient with my mare with a suspensory injury on her hind leg. I am pleased that he is able to trim with encouraging her to lift with no sedation. I am happy we found Tim for our two mares.

There is just one word for Tim’s work, “Amazing!” He is truly a miracle worker. After a not-so-great experience with a farrier who cut my thoroughbred’s feet too short, I decided to pull his shoes and have him go barefoot. Well, the first thing I found out is there are a lot of varying opinions about doing this. With Tim’s support and awesome care I stayed the course, and seven months later my horse’s feet look better than ever and he’s moving more freely. To see my horse finally comfortable in his own feet is worth everything. Thank you, Tim!

Tim has been trimming Stetson my dressage horse for a year now. What a difference. Last night as I watched Stetson move in the arena, I could see how his extended trot has become much better. He is lighter and extends more. His movements are much bigger and he just seems to float across the arena. At nineteen he looks better then he ever did at twelve. Thanks Tim.

Tim is the best farrier that I have had and always does an awesome job. He is very dependable. He responds to phone calls and texts within the same day and, if I have an unexpected problem that comes up, he will make time in his busy schedule to take care of it right away. More importantly, he is very gentle and my horse totally trusts him.
Jillian Whitakeron October 29, 2018 at 12:14 am
I cannot say enough good things about Tim! He has been trimming both of my mares, one of which is very picky about who she’ll let handle her, for just under a year now and I am always blown away by how kind and patient he is with them. Not only is he a talented trimmer, but he is extremely reliable and professional which is often a rarity in this profession. Tim’s natural approach to trimming is 100% in line with my horsemanship ideals and I am so thankful to have him in mine and my girls’ lives!

Tim Prindle is truly an exceptional farrier who combines extensive experience/education with professionalism, passion, and concern. He is very kind and patient with the horses and communicates well with the owners to answer all their questions. He has worked with our four horses – who compete in jumpers, dressage, and hunters, and range in age from 5 to 18 – and we saw significant improvement in the overall well-being and performance level of all our horses as a result. Tim is innovative and strives to help our beloved equine partners be at their best. We are so grateful to Tim and would highly recommend him. If you think you’ve “tried everything” to help your horse without success, give Tim a chance. Our Thoroughbred mare had terrible feet and we struggled for years with various shoes and pads but could not keep her comfortable. In just a few months under Tim’s care, we’ve seen her feet literally transform to where she is now a barefoot candidate! Many thanks Tim for your excellent work and dedication!

My 26-year-old American Paint Horse is going strong thanks to Tim’s exceptional barefoot trimming and creative use of innovative shoeing products when barefoot wasn’t getting the job done on front feet. Professional and always patient with an older horse that can be a bit testy about lifting up those hind feet. Thanks Tim!

My precious 31-year-old Percheron/Mustang cross is barefoot and moves around surefooted and happy with Tim’s excellent care. So many past disappoints with unreliable farriers. Tim is always there on schedule and has only done good with my horses feet. Tim is so good working with the horses (kind and patient) and he works with my boy’s other health issues. A true professional who does consistently excellent work!

“Great things are done by a series of small things brought together.”
— Vincent Van Gogh
Tim brings a masters touch to the trade. I truly believe he approaches each horse no different than daVinci approached Vitruvian Man, with geometric precision and great respect for anatomy and balance.
Thank you, Tim, for your determined dedication and artistry.

Well, what can I say about this incredible Farrier… He’s fricken fantastic is what I can say!!!! Tim has been the difference in whether my horse(s) are able to ride like the wind in comfort, or limp around with ouchy hooves!! Whenever I have been in need, even though it isn’t on his schedule for that day, he makes the time to work it out and fix any unforeseen issue… being in the forest terrain it happens on occasion. I also took on a wonderful 5 yr old paint rescue who had been diagnosed with Severe navicular and the vet said he would have to be put down within 6mos!! Well, not the case when Tim Prindle came on the scene… no sir, this gorgeous sweet 16h paint went from near death to a thriving life!!!! One trim and treatment from Tim, and my pony was able to be weaned off of Bute, and we have neve looked back!!!! I am so grateful to Tim, and his warm and calming, yet gregarious personality, I can’t say thank you enough for all you have done for my horses and all you continue to do. Love ya lots!!!!!

Farrier Tm has been shoeing my 26 year old mare (Arabian) for two years. I am totally satisfied with his professional care and expertise. Riyah started out as lame in the front after being rescued. Tim balanced her and corrected her previously uncared for hooves. I ride her on the trail on a regular basis now and that is such a gift! Tim is courteous and prompt. I love how he considers my girls needs each visit and makes adjustments in his knowledgeable farrier skills. Thanks Tim!

I have three horses who are all barefoot. A gelding, a navicular syndrome-diagnosed mare, and a yearling stud. He’s great with all three of them. He’s organized, consistent, and loving & patient with the horses. Couldn’t recommend anyone better!

I found Tim after an exhaustive search of quality Barefoot farriers…. I had experienced a couple of farriers that were unreliable. Once Tim started trimming my horses I knew right away he was competent, consistent and reliable and very thorough. He explains everything if you have questions and always communicates. Tim has been trimming my horses for 10 years and I am thankful that he still is available!
Sherry Greenon November 19, 2017 at 9:33 pm
Tim has been trimming my horses for about eight years and is incredible even with my most difficult ones. No horse is too big of a challenge. I have everything from Gypsy Vanner’s down to miniature horses and donkeys. Anyone looking for an amazing Farrier should give him a try. All of my horses are barefoot but he does put shoes on them as well.
I never have any question about referring him to friends. I know they’ll be happy.
